The word given today was tiny
I saw oceans and ships upon the seas
It made me think of mountain tops
And tall, ancient forest trees.
I had images of the moon and stars
Of being lost in outer space
Of just how vast our universe
Where sits my tiny, tiny place.
A tiny place in all that’s vast
So vast it’s outside my comprehension
How did it all come into being?
A big BANG! Some say and think it so.
For me, the Creator’s deliberate intention.
I see great detail in such tiny things
And in mountains oh so high
The delicacy in a butterfly’s wings
Tiny rainbows in tears we cry
Whether mountain top or deep blue sea
Or floating in outer space
One thing is sure wher’er I be
Mine is a tiny, tiny place.
