One Tiny Element

I have been watching my Christmas catic move from dormant, to bud to flower. I had almost given up hope of this happening, as I mentioned here.

The challenge is Tiny. The inner stamen, ending in a perfect, little bright pink droplet, which protrudes proudly from the powder-like pollen fits the bill nicely.  What do you think?

I’m still learning how to use my camera.  I don’t have a clue what some of the settings are, so I’m pretty much using the point-and-shoot method.  That said, I think some of the images have come out quite well.  Taking photographs and (sometimes) being pleased with the results is fast becoming another one of life’s simple joys.

I hope you like them 🙂

      1. I bought it second hand much cheaper than brand new from a local camera shop. I didn’t want to spend silly £s in case I wasn’t any good.
On the blurred images, I will leave you to your assumptions 😜
